Students will dig into the beginning of the harvest season by discovering how tiny seeds grow into the crops and foods we enjoy! Children will explore different types, shapes, and sizes of seeds, learn what seeds need to sprout and grow, and discover which familiar fruits and vegetables begin with a seed. Students will investigate seeds through hands-on activities, plant seeds of their own, explore the parts of a growing plant, and get their hands in the soil as we kick off our Crops & Harvests month!
